Task Instruction: Career-Focused AI Assistant

The purpose of this study is to allow you to experience a career-focused AI assistant designed to support your job search process. You will interact with an AI-based system called EduBot, which displays how AI can help you find, filter, and evaluate job opportunities aligned with your personal situation and preferences.

Overview

1. Pre-Task Survey

   Complete a short survey about your background, such as education, AI interaction experiences, job preferences, and salary expectations.

2. Job Search Task Using EduBot

   Interact with EduBot to:

   • Explore AI-generated job recommendations.
   • Review estimated salary, skills required, and job details for your personal situation.
   • Search and refine up to three target job roles, given your interaction with your AI assistant.
3. Post-Task Survey

   Complete a short follow-up survey about your perception of the AI assistant, including your trust, satisfaction, and whether the explanations affected your confidence.
